Teena Marie was our very first participant in the Perfect Inc program. Not only did she successfully complete training and an eight week internship, but she has now started her own business! Perfect Inc provides job training and internships, job placement services, and lifestyle coaching to women who are formerly incarcerated. Since our pilot program, which focused on job training in customer service, hospitality, and adminstrative support, we have added a creative track for participants starting in 2021. This track will provide training for participants in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
When employer background checks can go as far back a ten years, former incarceration becomes a major barrier to employment. We believe that all women need is support from their community and the opportunity to demonstrate their skills. You are our community and your support makes it possible to give those opportunities.
