Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is providing fruit and vegetable carts to unemployed individuals across Pkistan for income generating program. This initiative aligns with the UN SDGs by promoting Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8). By empowering individuals economically, it helps improve livelihoods, foster self-sufficiency, and ensure sustainable income opportunities for vulnerable communities.
Many remote communities across Pakistan face severe financial hardship due to limited job opportunities and a lack of sustainable income sources. Economic challenges leave individuals struggling to support their families, resulting in persistent poverty and food insecurity. Without access to dignified livelihoods, families remain trapped in a cycle of hardship. There is an urgent need to provide sustainable income solutions to empower individuals and improve their living conditions
This project provides fruit and vegetable carts to unemployed individuals, offering them a sustainable source of income. By enabling beneficiaries to start their own small businesses, it empowers them to support their families, break free from poverty, and achieve financial independence. The carts promote dignified work, improve food security, and foster economic growth in underserved communities, creating long-term positive impacts on their livelihoods.
The project will create lasting economic stability by enabling beneficiaries to build sustainable small businesses. Over time, this will help lift families out of poverty, improve their access to education, healthcare, and nutrition, and foster self-reliant communities. As beneficiaries grow their businesses, they may create additional job opportunities, contributing to broader economic development and reducing unemployment in underserved areas.
