many unmarried mothers who face unplanned pregnancies are subject to abuse, neglect, and malnutrition for themselves and their children. Cows, therefore, provide a sustainable income, create self-sufficiency for the single mother combat nutrient deficiency for the single mothers, and combat nutrient deficiencies for the children which leads to a healthy life for both mothers and children due to sustained income which provides health care and education opportunities.
those who benefitted from this project testified about how they improved their daily life in terms of health and economic status. Therefore, we are delighted to share with our Donors the good news that happened on the 20th of September this year 2023. we gave one Cow to Josiane MUKARUKUNDO of Juru Sector, Musovu Cell, Bugesera District, and another one to Francine MUKANTIBIRINGIRWA of Juru Sector, Rwinume Cell, Bugesera District. Both are single Mothers and were happy to receive those cows because they used to struggle to get milk.
We appreciate all donors who contributed to this project. We still encourage all well-wishers and our tireless donors to continue supporting these young mothers because their number is beyond our capacity.
peace to you all!
