By Riadh Saif | Project Leader

We draw the attention of our giver friends to the latest developments in providing therapeutic assistance to malnourished children in Yemen, Hamedan District, for the month of August 2021.

The health facility managed by SORD in the Iblas region was able to achieve a remarkable achievement in the child nutrition program during the month of August 2021 through the symmetry of 8 children to a full recovery, 5 of whom were female. At the same time, the health facility received 21 malnourished children, 5 of whom were SAM children and 16 MAM child out of 52 children screened. While 32 pregnant and lactating women were examined and provided with nutritional supplements and vitamins, in addition to providing natural counseling to help them improve their health status. 59 awareness sessions were carried out for caregivers about the danger of malnutrition and how to prevent it, in addition to providing an awareness dose about the prevention of the emerging corona virus. And the importance of commitment to personal hygiene at the level of the child and the mother.

At the end of this monthly briefing, we once again draw your attention to the fact that our efforts to save children who are at risk of death due to lack of food depend greatly on your generous support, which greatly helps to restore life to sick children.
