Thank you so much to the donors who have contributed to this project to get our Wildlife Warriors additional insurance, death and disability coverage.
On our end, we have run a number of other fundraising initiatives - and the good news - we secured the funding for the cover! From 1 April 2023, we are pleased to report that not only do our Wildlife Warriors now have cover created especially for field guardians, but so do all of our wildlife monitors, maintenance and managing staff that work in a big-5 environment daily.
It is comforting to know that should any of our team encounter a dangerous situation, their health, livelihoods and family's financial security will be taken care of.
