Saplings Now started to be in Plastic Bags

By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader

Dear Patrons,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the unwavering support you have shown toward our Rwanda forestation project. Thanks to your generosity, we successfully planted over 30,000 trees this past year, and we are pleased to report that they are thriving and contributing to the restoration of Rwanda's natural landscape.

We are excited to share that the saplings we plan to plant in  end  April 2025 are progressing wonderfully. With your support, the germination of 25,000 saplings has been a tremendous success. The seeds have sprouted and are growing strong and healthy. At this stage, we have started to  place them n plastic bags, allowing them to grow enough to be planted in the land. This positive development brings us closer to our goal of expanding Rwanda’s green cover, and we are eagerly preparing for the planting season, which will coincide with the heavy rains of April.

Currently, these 25,000 saplings are being carefully nurtured and prepared at our designated site in Buyoga, Rwanda (72PG +VXG - Google Plus Code). Attached, you will find photos of the saplings’ current state, which will give you a visual sense of the progress we’ve made.

As we approach the planting season, we need your continued support to ensure the success of the next phase. Ongoing funding will be required for essential activities such as land preparation, organic fertilizers, transportation, and of course, the planting itself. Additionally, long-term care and maintenance will be critical to ensure the trees' continued growth and success.

We kindly ask that you consider making a generous contribution to help us cover these upcoming costs. Monthly recurring donations are especially beneficial, as they help us maintain a steady flow of resources throughout the year. You can set up your donation using the link provided below.

Your commitment to this project has already made a significant impact, and we are truly grateful for your continued support. We are excited about the future of this project and look forward to sharing even more milestones with you in the months to come.

Thank you once again for your incredible generosity.

Best regards,
Jean Damascene UWIZEYIMANA
President, RWAYDAVO
