Club Online and food baskets for our families!

Our Club team hopes that you and your families are well and safe in these specially challenging times.
We are so excited to inform you that our Club Online has become more professional each day. Since June, when we started the Online Club, the kids have doubled in numbers and the teachers have gotten better at planning and implementing activities online. We are not only trying to keep our kids busy, help them in their homeschooling process, but also keep them company and help them with any psychological needs they may have during these uncertain times.
Additional to all the regular activities, on August 11th we started working on the pilot program of iWrite, a beautiful project that helps boys and girls build confidence and creativity through writing in English. It is designed for kids from 3 to 12 years. In this first stage we have fourteen highly motivated kids participating.
Together with Cats With A Heart we have developed a promising alliance by producing t-shirts that will be sold and will benefit both organizations. We designed a drawing competition with three aged-based categories. So far, we have two winners, and in the following weeks the last winner will be chosen. These winning designs will be transferred on the t-shirts to be sold. Our Club Kids are so excited about this competition and so far we have had a great response from our Club and Donor community when it comes to the voting process online.
Also, thanks to all of you, since August we have been able to provide our families with food baskets on a biweekly basis, with all necessary sanitary measures. This activity has given us the opportunity to keep in touch with more families each time, to get to know how they are dealing with the situation, and to know more about our Club kids who are mostly locked up at home.
Finally, our operational team has been able to take advantage of these COVID times and have been participating in diverse webinars and workshops about emotional intelligence, human rights, self-care, and other important topics that are relevant now and that the kids will find useful once we are back.
Especially in times like these we would like to thank you for your ongoing support!
Looking forward to reporting back to you very soon.
Stay safe and healthy!
