Ramadan: It is from the principles of taqwaa and Islam is not complete without it; Fasting brings about an increase in in faith and attainment of patience while training oneself for hardships and understand the reality of so many who are less unfortunate than us.

The holy month of Ramadan this year was observed in the humid weather of July; Ramadan, the holy moth is observed in the month of Shaban. The month lasts for 29-30 days based on the visual sighting of the crescent moon which culminates in celebration of Eid.

Fatima Memorial hospital is a Not for Profit organization whose core philosophy of functioning of is cross subsidization where funds generated from affording patients are utilized for the benefit of underprivileged and indigents and FMH has been providing treatment and care for the needy and deserving since last 37 years.

This year in the month of Ramadan, the hospital faculty not only ensured that proper medical treatment of deserving patients is provided for but providing iftar to their attendants who had been fasting all day both at sunset and sunrise

With the rising inflation and current economic conditions of the country, the hospital sees so many patients and their families who cannot afford medical care or a decent meal; through this endeavor the hospital ensures that no patient, attendant or family member goes hungry during the holy month of Ramazan.

We hope to continue our efforts in the coming years like we always had.

You can help us by donating generously so that we can continue again next year.
