Dear Patrons,
Thank you very much for the support that you have provided so far for the Livestock
for 100 Poor Families in Rwanda project. I wanted to update you on the progress of the project.
So far we have raised enough money to be able to support additional five families, we do appreciate your help and support. We would like to let you know that we have a target to support 20 families by the end of this year 2022.
The total budget is
1. 15 pigs (sows ): US$1125
2. Transport: US$ 20
3: 300 Kg pig’s food: 30US$
total: US$ 1175
Also, I want to update you on how was the activity of offering Pigs to the most vulnerable
People are done.
In collaboration with Burega Sector, one of the sectors of the Rulindo district
we offer pigs Families, chosen by Burega sector leaders based on their social economic status. They are the most vulnerable people are in Category I according to UBUDEHE social classification in Rwanda (poverty level categories): https://rwandapedia.rw›hgs›poverty-level-categories. People who are in Category I are the poorest and most vulnerable people in Rwanda who are unable to feed themselves without assistance.
