Kind donations make a world of a difference - and we are seeing the difference that they are making on a daily level! The three classrooms that are in use since the beginning of the Kenyan school year in January 2016 are the perfect environments for our pupils. They are metamorphosing from poverty-stricken hungry tots living in desolation, into some of the top pupils in the region with a grade level of up to 499 out of 500 points. All of our elementary school pupils have above average grade levels - and we are striding for even higher goals. How is this possible? Through donations that make excellent education a right instead of a luxury!
The next classroom construction begins in April 2016. This classroom must be completed and furnished by November so that it can be officially opened to the public - and to the upcoming 4th grade. This means that we really need those donations coming in as soon as possible.
In the meantime - the children are enjoying nutritious breakfasts and warm and tasty lunches, playing games and swinging on swings during their breaks - just like kids are supposed to be able to do all around the world. And so many of you have made this possible! Please keep us in mind - and tell your friends. Every donation – large or small – makes a difference!
Our school motto is: Education is the Key to the Future - and you are helping to hold the key!
We are conducting book drives in order to have classroom libraries. We are in desperate need of good books for kindergarten through 4th grade and for elementary school teachers in English.
