Nurturing Children’s Skills and Knowledge From the Very Beginning: Building a Toddler's Day Care Center
We are thrilled to share our vision for creating a Toddler’s Day Care Center, an essential addition to the Live and Learn in Kenya Education Center. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment where children’s passion for learning is ignited from the very beginning. With your support, we can make a significant impact on the lives of many toddlers, ensuring they receive the best start possible.
Our Vision
Our Toddler’s Day Care Center is dedicated to enhancing the intellectual, emotional, physical, and mental development of each child through child-centered childcare. By creating a safe, conducive learning environment, we aim to nurture every child’s skills and potential, preparing them for a successful transition into preschool.
Preparing Toddlers for Their Preschool Stage
The early years of a child's life are crucial for acquiring essential knowledge and skills. Our Toddler Care program at the Live and Learn in Kenya Education Center is meticulously designed to introduce toddlers to preschool fundamentals. We emphasize personalized care, ensuring each child receives fixed attention and immediate responses to their needs. Through a group care setting, we help children develop social skills and engage in activities that promote learning and development.

Our Immediate Need
Currently, we are registering 30 three-year-olds (15 girls and 15 boys) to join our program. We need to have the Day Care Center built and ready by mid-October to welcome these children for the new school year starting in January. The construction company has assured us that the building will be ready by mid-October if we are able to raise the funds as soon as possible.
To achieve this, we require your support to meet our funding goal. The construction of the Toddler’s Day Care Center will cost approximately $29,000. This investment will help us provide a safe, stimulating environment for the poorest of the poor, ensuring they receive the quality care and education they deserve at a very young age.
