How can parents contend with not being able to feed and clothe their little child? Just the idea is heartbreaking and gave us a reason to decide to take smaller children on to the Live and Learn in Kenya International program. 15 little girls and 15 little boys aged 3 - 4 are now LLK Kids! We are building a classroom right now and it will be completed by the end of February so that the tiny tots can move into a classroom that is made to fit their needs. But they need sponsors. The new Day Care classroom will have to have little mattresses and bed linen - plenty of toys and learning materials for small children and a specially trained day care teacher has already been hired.
Besides food and clothing, our little ones will become a part of the Live and Learn in Kenya Int'l community. That means that they will go from day care through to 8th grade at the Live and Learn in Kenya Education Center. If they decide to go to vocational training, by then it will be possible directly at the LLK Education Center. If they are able to go on to high school, college or even university - the sky is the limit with a sponsorship through Live and Learn in Kenya International.
