Happy New Year from Ojala Ninos!
We are pleased to report that we met our first goal for December and were able to start the first phase of our project. The retaining structural wall that borders the property. Thanks to Arichitect Guirellmo Orozco we broke ground Wednesday January 24th, 2018. This also is providing some temporary work for the community members themselves and we hope to continue to utilize their skills and enthusiasm. We continue to work hard to achieve our ultimate goal of a Community Learning Center Building.
Id also like to take this opportunity to thank the many local friends and supporters of Ojala in our 3 Kings shoe drive. We were able to give 68 kids a new pair of tennis shoes, for some, it being their very first pair of new shoes.
We are grateful to the Global Giving community and our own local community, let this be a good year for all of us
