Dear Friends of FAME,
Thank you for supporting our Inpatient Ward 2 Rennovation Project. While we wern't able to raise enough funds to complete a full remodeling of the ward, your gift was immensley helpful during these difficult times. When we began fundraising for this project, we had no way of knowing the impact that Covid-19 would have on our operations here.
In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have temporarily converted our secondary ward into an Isolation Unit where we are able to provide medical care for patients suffering from Covid-19. Your support was immensley helpful in sourcing much needed equipment for this new medical unit, and for that we are truly grateful!
While we still have plans to fully rennovate our second Impatient Ward in the future, our immediate attention is focused on mitigating the impact of Covid-19 on the local population here in Karatu. In these uncertain times, we feel privileged that you selected our project to support out of so many wonderful causes.
