Summer break is now officially over and our children are back at school. If you have not been keeping up with our Weekly Newsletters, the last 30 days have been a series of games, activities, challenges, swims in our pool, trips to the jungle, cards, competitions, fishing and fun. Our good friend John Marshall is out here from the USA helping to keep our kids entertained over the vacation period and he sure is doing a great job!
We are also in the changover period as the weather in our area of India going from hot, hot, hot to hot, hot, wet. The monsoon is knocking on our door with irregular downpours that bring a burst of joy, life and energy to the place. Our fields, animals and plants love it... but not nearly as much as our kids! Every storm has our kids out playing football, dancing or having mudfights in the rain. It's the perfect way to cool off.
We also had a visit from Mansi one of GlobalGiving’s India Field Team members. Mansi came to meet our organization, see the work we are doing and offer advice on how we can better use GlobalGiving to impact our organization. It was great to have her here with us and we are already implementing much of her advice.
We want to thank you all for your amazing support; each one of you is helping to bring joy and life into the lives of these amazing children. We hope this latest batch of photos helps you to see that.
