Project Report: Alkhidmat Grocery Shop – Income Generating ProgramBrief Summary of Activities
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, under the Orphan Family Support Program (OFSP), successfully inaugurated a new grocery shop in Nowshera Virkan, District Gujranwala, with the generous support of One Ummah. This initiative aims to empower widowed mothers of orphan children, helping them become financially independent and provide better futures for their families. The project directly supports 30 beneficiaries, with 60% of them being female entrepreneurs.
Since the last report, we have completed the setup and handed over the grocery shop to deserving participants, equipping them with the necessary inventory, training, and basic financial management skills. These shops are a stepping stone towards sustainable income generation, creating a ripple effect in uplifting their families and communities.
Impact on Beneficiaries
The project aligns with Alkhidmat’s vision to empower vulnerable communities through sustainable solutions, ensuring long-term positive impact. We are committed to monitoring progress and supporting these beneficiaries in maximizing their potential.
we are also Thankful for our GlobalGiving supporter in making these transformative initiatives possible.
