We want to thank all the donors for their support and give you an update on the actions that have been carried out with teachers, students, and their families, in rural schools in Colombia, through the SCALA program.
In the period from April to July 2022, our work focused on implementing different strategies to contribute to school retention in 15 rural educational institutions that are part of the program.
1. Together, with the teachers and school directors, we worked in the following topics to generate capacities and make children, adolescents and young people fall in love with their educational processes so, that leaving school, is not an option:
2. We are beginning the process to start activities in 2 more educational institutions.
3. We are doing the diagnostic process in 5 educational institutions, to know the internal and external factors to the Educational Institutions that are triggers of desertion, to carry out the best initiatives and define the best work plan.
With our program we are benefiting and reaching more than 1900 students, 223 teachers and 22 directors.
