Dear Supporters,

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing financial support received from GlobalGiving, which has played a crucial role in our efforts to support Ukrainian refugee children and women within the host community in Romania.

With your help, we have been able to make a meaningful impact by offering essential support to the EDNAE organization, assisting with rent and providing educational materials that directly benefit the community it serves. One of the most inspiring aspects of our work has been the story of the Ukrainian Community Hub, run by a remarkable Ukrainian woman who moved to Romania after the war began. She has dedicated herself to supporting her fellow refugees, ensuring they have access to the resources and care they need. The hub, which has been operational for over a year, supports more than 300 families living in Suceava County. Through a wide range of services—including the distribution of basic necessities, organizing community events, offering focus groups, translation, and legal support—the hub has become a crucial lifeline for the community.

However, since their funding ceased at the end of January 2024, the hub has been in urgent need of financial support to continue its vital work. Given its importance as a focal point for the community, our goal is to secure the necessary funding to ensure that it can continue to function throughout the remainder of 2024 and beyond. This hub is more than a service provider—it is a space for healing, connection, and hope for hundreds of displaced families.

In addition to supporting the hub, we are also actively working to assist Ukrainian refugee children in Suceava by providing equipment for their football team and organizing non-formal activities that promote integration and emotional well-being. These initiatives help to create a sense of normalcy and community for children who have faced unimaginable challenges, giving them the opportunity to grow, play, and thrive.

Thank you for your unwavering support and for making it possible to provide these life-changing interventions. Together, we are not only addressing immediate needs but also creating lasting opportunities for Ukrainian families to rebuild their lives.

With deep gratitude,
Te Aud Romania
