More Donations made to Earthquake Victims

By Elizabeth Appleyard | Program Officer

Dear Friends,

The October 2015 earthquake devastated many communities. People are still trying to put their lives back together and provide for themselves and their families. Thanks to your generosity AIL was able to provide relief supplies to 100 more families in the month of March.

Following on from the previous donation to 1,000 families  AIL staff were able to distribute 100 blankets, 100 floor coverings and 100 water coolers to 100 families. These families lost everything in the earthquake  and are living temporarily in the Pakistan city of  Peshawar. In addition, the staff gave out 500 books and 500 notebooks for the children of these families to aid them in their school work.

This distribution of supplies concludes AIL’s earthquake relief work. Thank you again for your support.
