Alkhidmat Volunteers Packing Hygiene Kits for Gaza

In response to the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Alkhidmat Foundation has mobilized hundreds of dedicated volunteers to prepare and distribute essential hygiene kits for displaced families. Recognizing the dire need for sanitary supplies in conflict-affected areas, our teams have been working tirelessly to ensure that families—especially women, children, and the elderly—receive the basic hygiene essentials necessary to maintain their health and dignity.

Recently, over 100 volunteers came together in a coordinated effort to pack and prepare these lifesaving hygiene kits, which include soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary items, hand sanitizers, and other necessary supplies. These kits are crucial for preventing the spread of diseases and ensuring that affected communities can uphold personal hygiene despite the harsh living conditions they are enduring.

With Gaza facing severe shortages of clean water, sanitation facilities, and medical supplies, these hygiene kits offer a lifeline to thousands of displaced individuals who are struggling to find the most basic necessities for daily survival. The dedicated efforts of our volunteers, combined with the generous support of donors, have made it possible to reach those most in need with these essential supplies.

Inspiring the Youth: Alkhidmat Awareness Session at Roots International School

Alkhidmat volunteers conducted an awareness session at Roots International School, Millennium DHA, where students were introduced to the seven service areas of Alkhidmat Foundation. The session aimed to educate and inspire young minds about the foundation’s impactful humanitarian efforts across Pakistan.

A key highlight of the session was Bano Qabil, a groundbreaking initiative designed to bridge the digital divide by providing free IT courses to deserving individuals. With 28 comprehensive courses, this program equips learners with essential digital skills, enabling them to thrive in the modern workforce.

By engaging students in such initiatives, this effort:

• Raises awareness about Alkhidmat’s diverse humanitarian projects.
• Encourages youth participation in social service and skill development.
• Promotes digital literacy through Bano Qabil, empowering future generations.
