Dear supporters,
We have been working diligently to reopen College Les Sophos d’ Haiti, which was forced to close at the end of the last school year due to threats of violence. We have succeeded to obtain a new location and start the new school year this week. Much work lies ahead to raise funding to help pay for supplies, uniforms and tuition. Our goal always is to keep the kids in the classroom and remove the money barrier. All that we accomplish is made possible by you, our supporters.
The first few days of school in Haiti a lot of students stay home typically. We have started calling parents to inform them to return to Les Sophos. The trauma at the end of the last school year left doubts in the minds of parents if the school would reopen. Thanks to our supporters, the school can continue to provide quality education. The uniform color for Les Sophos is changing this year. It will be revealed in future updates
