To our GlobalGiving family,
Our Building Project continues to move forward, thanks to the support of our faithful donors.
We are currently in the exciting - and challenging - period of deciding on the builder for our new offices. We have met with two contractors and have plans to meet with two more in the next week. Thankfully we have a committed and knowledgeable team to review the contractors’ bids: Nicaraguan architects and engineers who benefitted from Fundación scholarships working in partnership with experienced North American builders who are friends of the Fundación.
Our goal is to begin construction in November, which is the beginning of the six-month dry season. Hopefully our next update will be full of news of the groundbreaking celebration!
