In response to this crisis, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan's volunteers are actively engaged on the ground, providing essential emergency relief to those affected by the disaster.

Challenge

The recent monsoon floods in North Pakistan, particularly in regions like Chitral, Gilgit, Astore, Dir and some parts of Sind, have wreaked havoc on countless families.Monsoonl rains have led to severe flooding, causing widespread destruction to homes and critical infrastructure. As a result, thousands of people have been left homeless, with many struggling to find basic necessities like shelter, food, and clean water. The devastating impact of these floods has displaced entire communities.

Solution

The project will directly address the critical needs of families affected by the devastating floods in North Pakistan. To help those who have lost their homes, we will build new houses to provide durable and safe living conditions. In the interim, we will offer temporary shelter tents for those currently without a roof.Access to clean drinking water will be ensured to prevent waterborne diseases, and medical camps will be set up to provide essential healthcare services

Long-Term Impact

The potential long-term impact of this project is significant, as it will not only address the immediate needs of flood-affected families but also lay the foundation for sustainable recovery and resilience. By constructing new homes, the project will provide safe and secure living conditions, reducing the vulnerability of these communities to future disasters. Access to clean water and healthcare will improve overall health outcomes,
