The Marianna, Florida Recovery Program was slated to begin in March of 2020 with an all-star team of staff and volunteers. The pandemic ultimately put a halt to those plans and required significant program adjustments in order to resume operations in Jackson County. As you now know, we were incredibly excited to be able to engage a team in the fall of 2020 and continue supporting families affected by Hurricane Michael.
The team had to navigate through a variety of challenges which were only exacerbated by the pandemic itself. Still, they were able to overcome these challenges and accomplish their goals. For this team, the goal was to complete interior repairs on 17 homes, in addition to some muck and gut/mold sanitations.
This was technically our third installment of Hurricane Michael relief and a true testament to the dedication of staff and volunteers that worked so hard to keep the program going. We are so proud of the work that has been completed over the past two years, and we are forever grateful for the donors (like you) that helped make it all possible.
What we accomplished together:
Thank you again for all of your support and your belief in our mission!
