Americares continues to build upon its legacy of providing immediate relief while fostering long-term resilience. Your support empowered us to deliver critical healthcare services, mental health support, and medical supplies to disaster survivors. 

Your donation ensures that we can:  

• Prepare: We pre-position supplies, train health workers, and develop response plans to prepare for emergencies.  

• Respond: We deliver life-saving medical supplies and deploy emergency response teams and medical mobile units to meet urgent health needs. 

• Recover: We support communities long after the headlines fade by helping rebuild health systems and ensuring ongoing access to essential medical care.  

Over the last year we responded to 33 emergencies in 28 countries. These responses helped restore vital healthcare services in communities devastated by floods, wildfires, typhoons, and more. Your support made it possible to respond quickly, addressing immediate health needs while also working to rebuild resilient health systems for long-term recovery. 

Donations to Americares Emergency Response fund allows our organization to maintain a state of constant readiness, ensuring we are among the first organizations on the ground when disaster strikes. This readiness translates into the rapid deployment of medical teams, mental health specialists, and emergency supplies. Whether responding to the ravages of war in Ukraine or the destructive wildfires in Hawaii, your support allowed us to be there—when it mattered most. 

• Emergency Medicines and Supplies: Americares delivered medicines and medical supplies across the globe. These items ranged from essential medications for chronic conditions to critical medical tools needed in the immediate aftermath of disasters, to basic hygiene supplies to help ward off infection. 
• Restoring Health Services: Your generosity helped repair clinics, replace damaged medical equipment, and provide temporary health staff to areas where demand surged due to disasters.
• Mental Health and Psychosocial Support: From Florida to Gaza, Americares provided both in-person and remote mental health support to healthcare workers and disaster survivors, ensuring that the trauma of these events did not go unaddresse
