All AIL centers, students and staff participate in our annual Green Day.
Many people in Afghanistan lack knowledge of what they can do to help with climate change and that what they do will make a difference for the future. People need education as well as projects that they can be involved in. Our projects are locally led and include greening Afghanistan and cleaning up/preventing pollution.
This is something that is enjoyed among our teams, not only do we teach within AIL but when we make efforst to clean the communities and plant new life. We are teaching other community members the importance of taking care of our plant and the effects of climate change.
We continue to make small steps towards a better future, and each new tree that is planted; is planting hope for our future generations.
