The focus for the month of April was on encouraging people to conserve water and the change their habits so they use less water. Students were told to turn off the tap while brushing teeth, fix leaks, install aerating faucets, low flow toilets and shorten shower times and collect rain water for plants. Students took turns watering plants at school. Radio Meraj produced clips on saving the environment, water usage and water pollution and its effect on public health.
