The "soul" of our school gym was just born - will you help to give birth to the gym's name?

Dear Supporters!

(MAGYARUL A CSATOLMÁNYBAN)

Another three month has passed. The Advent period has started and soon Christmas is coming. We can feel that nature is withdrawing its forces from the summer liveliness into an inner reflection.

And so are we doing with the construction works. After we successfully survived a financial crisis in August, we had to re-plan the construction schedule to reflect the new realities of our cashflow plan. This meant that we had to accept, that the construction will slow down for the autumn period and things will take longer than we expected.

During the last three months internal works have been going on, such as basic engineering and electrical installations, plastering and painting.

What still remains is the inner tiling, the sports floor, the mechanical and electrical finishing, and the installation of sports technology. These will be postponed until next spring.

Oh, and the kids are still missing from the gym, though they are eager to move in. Just look at the picture - the gym is beautiful, but it is soooo empty yet.

In mid-October we held an information forum for the school community about the construction. We took the courage to keep it in the gym hall. Of course, everyone liked the walk inside and around the building. But why I actually write about this is that our teachers sang a song in the main hall and it sounded so fantastic that everybody listened to it with fascination. Someone later remarked that "the soul of the building was born".

With these thoughts I wish you a blessed advent period.

PS: We are planning to name the school gym. We decided that we offer the opportunity to our supporters to suggest a name. So I invite you to send us your idea for the name of our gym hall. You can do this in a response email to our personal thank you letter which we send after your next donation. We are really curious what names will come around!
