Graduation Day for Cohorts 4 & 5!

By Eunice Nkambule | NPC Coordinator

The 20th April 2023 was a big day for the 53 entrepreneurs who graduated after 6 weeks of entrepreneurship training. They left with skills such as computer skills and website development, business education that involved mindset development which supports an entrepreneur in setting up a successful business as well as entrepreneurship support from the program.

These trainings will enable the aspiring young business people to build the skills needed in order to succeed in their various businesses. The youth has been able to start and grow successful businesses. As we continue to work together towards building a brighter future for all unemployed youth around the communities.

Thus far, the program has empowered 114 young people who have been trained, with 9 having set up their own business. These include vegetable farming, restaurants, baking, sewing and selling of secondhand clothing, an internet café, carpentry and livestock farming. While we await for more funding, we continue to host workshops to get feedback from the students who participated on the enterprise program.

All Out Africa will also do key informant interviews with the community headman, the personnel from Swaziland association for crime prevention and rehabilitation of offenders (SACRO) as well as the minister of commerce and international trade personnel under the small medium enterprise unit.

A big thank you goes to everyone that has helped All Out Africa make this program a success in giving the unemployed youth of Eswatini hope. With all these skills the youth will be able to provide for themselves and support their families and communities.
