With the pleasure of greeting you, we present a report below that contains data on the work carried out by Sanando Heridas in the period from January to December 2022.
During this period we worked on the Health Care project for indigenous tsotsil children of Chiapas México from 3 aspects:
1. Comprehensive medical consultation
2. Group monitoring growth and development, under 5 years
3. Medical management actions
We share the main results:
2,054 meical consultations granted to children and young people from 5 to 18 years of age.
321 of these consultations were granted to boys and girls under 5 years of age cared for in the Growth and Development surveillance group.
Main diagnoses:
22% were due to acute respiratory infections
14% were due to different infectious diseases
14% were in normal nutritional status
13.15% were due to chronic malnutrition
Other indicators:
61% of the consultations granted were female.
10 boys and girls treated in 145 actions of medical management.
83% of the consultations were granted in tsotsil
6 localities belonging to 4 municipalities of the tsotsil region of Los Altos Chiapas attended. In addition to the care provided at the San Cristóbal de las Casas clinic.
All these diagnoses have been addressed with adequate and quality treatments for each of the children who use the program.
These accomplishments were made with funds received from the GlobalGiving project and other co-investment funds.

Con el gusto de saludarlos, a continuación, presentamos un informe que contiene datos del trabajo realizado por Sanando Heridas en la etapa de enero a diciembre de 2022.
Durante este período trabajamos el proyecto “Cuidado de la salud para niños y niñas indígenas tsotsiles de Chiapas México, desde 3 vertientes:
Compartimos los principales resultados:
2,054 consultas médicas otorgadas a niños, niñas y jóvenes de 5 a 18 años.
321 de estas consultas se otorgaron a niños y niñas menores de 5 años atendidos en grupo de vigilancia Crecimiento y Desarrollo.
Principales diagnósticos:
22% fueron por infecciones respiratorias agudas
14% fueron por diferentes enfermedades infecciosas
14% se encontraron en estado nutricional normal
13.15% fueron por desnutrición crónica
Otros indicadores:
61% de las consultas otorgadas fueron de género femenino.
10 niños y niñas atendidos en 145 acciones de gestión médica.
83% de las consultas se otorgaron en tsotsil
Se atendieron a 6 localidades pertenecientes a 4 municipiosde la región tsotsil de los Altos Chiapas México. Además de la atención otorgada en la clínica de San Cristóbal de las Casas.
Todos estos diagnósticos se han atendido con tratamientos adecuados y de calidad a cada uno de los niños usuarios del programa.
Estos logros se realizaron con fondos recibidos desde el proyecto con GlobalGiving y otros fondos en coinversión.
