Update on Goat farming project

By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you so much for all the support that you have provided so far for our Rwanda Goat farming project.

We are happy to update you about the project, the project aims to support 200 families in Burega village
and so far we have been able to raise funds from local donors to support eight families.
For this round, we need to support 50 families, and to do this we need direct support of 2500 USD before the end of the year so that we can be able to support those families. This project aims to address the problems of food insecurity, limited awareness of better farming methods, declining soil fertility, poor nutrition among mothers and their children, Limited accessibility to improved planting materials, the high poverty levels. Goat farming will help them to address each of these community priorities. The goat kids will be distributed to others in the community to impact more households' agricultural yields and income. As you know, Agriculture and goats have a symbiotic relationship that can contribute to sustainable farming by maintaining soil fertility. In the short run, this project will improve the food supply, and maintain soil fertility.
We aim to support 50 families before the end of 2023 and we request you donate generously to our project so that we can achieve our target before the end of the year. You could also consider making a monthly recurring donation for our project, which will help us with our ongoing work.

We thank you for everything that you have done for our projects, and we look forward to your continued support.

Thanks & Best Regards.
