Dear friends,
Happy Diwali and Happy Chhat Puja from the students of the Kaliyachak Girls' School in rural Bihar!
Known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali is being celebrated on October 27th and Chhat Puja (a very Bihar festival) will be celebrated on November 2nd this year.
The girls have also sent you a very beautiful "thank you" for supporting their school. The Girls’ School in Kaliyachak in the Nalanda distict of Bihar has a total of eighty-one students (from nine different villages), six teachers and one administrative assistant. It has students from classes I to V.
We appreciate your support. Many thanks -- and may the lights of Diwali bring you prosperity and joy this year.
Wishing you all the best,
Ellen Fish
