Gift of a wheelchair to persons with disabilities.

Dear Esteemed Supporters,

On behalf of the Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization (RWAYDAVO), I would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for your continuous support of our "Gift of a Wheelchair" initiative, which empowers individuals with disabilities in Rwanda.

At RWAYDAVO, we strongly believe that every person, regardless of their challenges, deserves the opportunity to lead a life filled with dignity and purpose. Thanks to your generous donations, we are able to provide 50 individuals with mobility impairments the ability to move independently and restore their self-confidence. This initiative is a core part of our mission, with a goal of distributing 50 wheelchairs annually through our Wheelchair Fund.

By the end of February 2025, we plan to distribute 8 wheelchairs to those who are unable to afford them—a target we successfully achieved last summer (2024). So far, we have secured donations that will cover the needs of 3 individuals, leaving us with 5 more to reach our goal of helping 8 people this year. We remain optimistic about reaching this target and making a lasting impact.

Our dedication to this cause is unwavering, and we continue to engage with potential donors while preparing for the upcoming Bonus Day campaign. We humbly ask for your ongoing support as we strive to continue this vital work and meet our objectives.
