Hot Meals for Sahur & Iftar in Gaza

Since October 7, 2023, Alkhidmat Foundation has been actively engaged in providing relief to the people of Gaza, where ongoing conflict and displacement have left thousands struggling to secure food. As part of our humanitarian response, we launched the Hot Meals for Sahur & Iftar initiative to ensure that families observing Ramadan and those in dire need have access to nutritious meals during Sahur (pre-dawn meal) and Iftar (breaking fast at sunset).

So far, 213,678 hot meals have been distributed across Gaza, reaching displaced families, widows, orphans, and individuals facing extreme hardships. Our dedicated teams have been working tirelessly to cook and distribute fresh, warm meals daily, despite the challenges posed by supply chain disruptions and security concerns. Each meal is carefully prepared to meet nutritional needs, providing essential sustenance for those who are fasting or simply struggling to find food amid the crisis.

This initiative has been made possible through the generous support of our donors, particularly those from the GlobalGiving community, who have stood with us in solidarity to bring relief to the people of Gaza. With their contributions, we have been able to sustain our meal distribution program, ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry.
