Project Report: Shining Stars of Central Jail Peshawar

We are thrilled to share an update on the remarkable journey of the "Shining Stars of Central Jail Peshawar" project, a rehabilitation initiative by Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This transformative project aims to empower inmates by equipping them with vocational skills, fostering hope, and paving the way for their reintegration into society.
Recent Achievements
In the last six months, 43 inmates successfully completed skill development courses offered at the Alkhidmat Skill Centre in Central Jail, Peshawar. These courses included tailoring, carpentry, and handicrafts, all designed to enhance employability and self-reliance. At a certificate distribution ceremony, the graduates expressed their gratitude and shared their dreams of a brighter future.
One of the participants, Ahmed*, reflected on his journey: "I never thought I could learn a skill that would give me a second chance at life. This training has given me hope and the tools to support my family after my release." Ahmed plans to open a small tailoring shop, demonstrating the program's potential to transform lives.
The Road Ahead
