HELP HEAL VENEZUELA !!

2024: We are back and going strong!

Dear Donors,

I want to start with a big THANK YOU!  Even though our overall goal for project Help Heal Venezuela is $45.500 we managed to obtain results with the $14.400 received, for which we are very grateful. Thanks to your generosity our main objective of empowering teachers to nurture hope and resilience to the children of the state of Zulia, Venezuela, has started and is making progress!

What makes this project so special? The schools we are reaching on this first stage of the project are located in La Cañada de Urdaneta where there is a shortage of infrastructure (transportation, power, water) making access difficult and living conditions fragile. But thanks to your help, we have started implementing the program in two schools with much excitement from all involved.

Implementing  the educational program "Aprendiendo a Querer" in these schools  involves interactive workshops and training for teachers, so that they can acquire the knowledge and skills required to make a difference to these vulnerable children  and provide them with a set of values  that will impact their way of life.

We have dedicated 16 hours to motivate 28 teachers, highlighting their crucial role in forming new generations and teaching them the methodology of our curriculum.

The schools directors have expressed their satisfaction with what has been achieved so far, and the teachers feel very grateful and enthusiastic about the program.

Up to now we have distributed between both schools 504 student textbooks and teacher guides, making it possible to reach 573 children. As we receive new donations, we will complete the books for all the students, so that each one has a book. These books will remain in the school library for future use. Our books include a student textbook, a teacher's guide, and homework notebooks, one of each for the 13 levels covered by our program.

We still have a long way to go, but thanks to your donations we will get there. Our next step includes the pedagogical support we provide during classroom sessions and making sure that more books can reach our wonderful students at other levels. Fundraising efforts will focus on this and in our next campaign we will provide you with all the details.

2024: Estamos de regreso y más fuertes que nunca!

Quiero iniciar agradeciendo su generosidad y decirles ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS!  A pesar de que nuestra meta general para el proyecto es de $45.500, logramos obtener resultados con los $14.400 recibidos, por lo cual estamos muy agradecidos. Gracias a ustedes nuestro principal objetivo de empoderar a los docentes para que fomenten esperanza y resiliencia en los niños y niñas del Estado Zulia, Venezuela, ha comenzado y avanza firmemente.

¿Qué hace que este proyecto sea tan especial? Las escuelas a las que estamos llegando en esta etapa del proyecto están ubicadas en La Cañada de Urdaneta donde el acceso es difícil y las condiciones de vida son precarias. Pero gracias a su ayuda, hemos comenzado a implementar el programa en dos escuelas y con mucho entusiasmo por parte de todos los involucrados. Hemos realizado talleres interactivos y capacitaciones para docentes, para que adquieran los conocimientos y habilidades necesarias para marcar la diferencia en estos niños vulnerables.  El programa les proporciona un conjunto de valores que impactarán su forma de vida, modificando sus actitudes y desarrollando su personalidad y carácter.

Se han dedicado 16 horas a motivar a 28 docentes, destacando su papel crucial en la formación de las nuevas generaciones y enseñándoles la metodología de nuestro plan de estudios.

Los directores de las escuelas están muy satisfechos por lo logrado y los docentes muy agradecidos y entusiasmados.

Hasta el momento hemos distribuido entre ambas escuelas 504 libros para estudiantes y guías para maestros, lo que ha permitido llegar a 573 niños. A medida que recibamos nuevas donaciones, iremos completando los libros para todos los estudiantes, para que cada uno tenga un libro.

Estos libros permanecerán en la biblioteca de la escuela para su uso futuro. Nuestros libros incluyen un libro de texto para el estudiante, una guía para el maestro y cuadernos para las tareas en casa, uno de cada uno para los 13 niveles cubiertos por nuestro programa.

 Todavía nos queda un largo camino por recorrer, pero gracias a vuestras donaciones lo conseguiremos. Nuestro siguiente paso incluye el apoyo pedagógico que brindamos durante las sesiones en el aula y asegurarnos de que más libros puedan llegar a nuestros maravillosos estudiantes de otros niveles. Los esfuerzos de recaudación de fondos se centrarán en esto y en nuestra próxima campaña  les  proporcionaremos todos los detalles.
