Dear donors,
Our Entrepreneur Incubation project is a pilot project to support businesses from the favela to develop themselves and help them bring their innovative initiatives into the world.
Throughout our pilot incubation process, our incubees have taken a deep dive into the goals of their work. They have been assisted in organizing their ideas, redesigning their strategic plans, and executing their work in an organized way and in alignment with their purpose. We seek partnerships and resources from outside the favela and ease the development of strategic partnerships that will strengthen the projects in the long term. The incubation method is balanced between personal development and professional skills. The impact and revenue of all our incubees have increased through the process and all finished feeling more confident with their skills and position as leaderships within the community.
We are in the process of improving our incubation method. That includes establishing clear impact indicators and including partner organizations and individuals who have advanced knowledge in the areas of capacitation to include that into the incubation process. In order to execute our recruitment process in October 2021 and start the incubation in the start of 2022, we will need to raise enough funds to finance all activities. Currently we are focusing on fundraising through sponsorships, grants and individual donations. We will inform about the incubation locally through our partners from the Vidigal Vive Collective and through events such as pitch competitions, workshops on entrepreneurship and others.
