Dear generous donors,

Thanks to your support, EarthSpark has met our fundraising goal and has won the Global Giving Challenge! Your generous support has enabled us to secure a permanent spot on the Global Giving site, and more importantly your contribution will fuel the expantion of clean and efficient energy services in Haiti over the coming months.

While our target was $5,000, donors collectively contributed $5,305 through the Challenge. All of this funding will go directly to providing high-quality low cost energy solutions for Haiti's unelectrified population through a) energy retail activity, creating a sustainable infrastructure of dedicated local entrepreneurs selling solar products and improved cookstoves and b) innovative pre-pay micro-grid systems.

EarthSpark has ambitious plans for the next three years to expand its retail and micro-grid activities, first in the southern region, then throughout all of Haiti with an overarching goal to provide energy access to over 3 million people. Your contribution will help us expand our work with local community organizations and local and national governments to promote clean energy adoption while ensuring that our activities are aligned with government objectives for long-term sustainability.

As a contributor to this project, you are making this work possible. Thank you for working with us to eradicate energy poverty in Haiti.

All the best for a 2013 filled with sustainable warmth, light, and collaboration,

Allison
