Exciting News from Our Women to Women Program

Workshop in Goa March 2025

Hello dear supporter,

We're thrilled to share some exciting updates on our progress and what's on the horizon!

Women to Women Program Expansion: Our Women to Women program is flourishing! This year alone, we've reached 124 women, empowering 117 in India and 7 in Kenya. We're incredibly proud of this growth and the positive impact it's making.
Kenya Workshops Launched: We successfully launched our workshops in Kenya this past March, following the inspiring visit from Farida and Amanda. Their time there was invaluable, allowing them to connect deeply with the women, explore other local projects for inspiration, and effectively implement the workshops.
Kenya Partnerships Extension: In February 2025, we solidified crucial collaborations with two prominent local organizations in Kenya, significantly expanding our support network. We partnered with Food4Education to provide daily nutritious meals to all participating women and their children, ensuring their basic needs are met and fostering a conducive environment for learning and growth. Additionally, we joined forces with SHOFCO to offer comprehensive healthcare, legal assistance, and funerary support, addressing critical vulnerabilities and empowering women with essential resources.
New Workshop space in Kenya: Further enhancing our program's infrastructure, we launched our new workshop space within Hai Africa's newly constructed school in Kabiria, providing a dedicated and safe environment for our educational and empowerment initiatives.
New training in Kenya: We introduced a specialized housekeeping workshop in Kenya, designed to equip women with practical skills that directly address the needs of the local community, thereby enhancing their employability and economic independence.
Kenya Team Growth: We're pleased to announce that Jane has joined our team in Kenya, receiving monthly compensation to support our local leader, Linda, in managing our finances. This strengthens our operational capacity and ensures efficient use of your generous donations.
Continued Support for Women: Building on our progress, we're dedicated to increasing the number of women receiving monthly compensation to 15, 13 in India + 2 in Kenya. Your ongoing support will directly contribute to this goal. We are continuing to support our current projects in India and Kenya.
Rent Support: We are currently providing rent support to 5 women in Kenya.
Website Update Coming Soon: We're in the final stages of developing our updated website, slated for launch in April. This new platform will feature an improved interface, a comprehensive donation page highlighting our impact and programs, and we are working towards a German version.
Impact Report on the Way: We're diligently working on our 2024 impact report and look forward to sharing it with you in our next update, it is taking longer than planned due to the number of programs we have done recently, but soon we bring it here.

2024 has been our best year so far, THANK YOU!

Hi there,

We're thrilled to share some exciting updates from Project Tres!

New Funding Milestone:

We're delighted to announce that we've secured a significant funding increase for Project Tres, finally!

This is a historic achievement that will enable us to expand our reach and impact. You can read more about this exciting development here.

With this new funding, we'll be able to cover our general operating costs and provide vital training workshops to 650 women in India and Kenya until July 2025, and this is also only possible, because of your continuous support, so THANK YOU :)

Updates from Kenya:

We've taken steps to improve the well-being of our team and beneficiaries in Kenya:

We've increased the monthly payments for Linda, our project leader and manager in Nairobi, and Mary, who oversees center maintenance.
We're providing rent support to 6 women in Kenya to help them maintain stable housing.

Updates from India:

We've experienced some changes in our Indian team:

Rupa, one of our local leaders, has decided to leave Project Tres. We've been restructuring our management in India to ensure continuity and effectiveness.
We recently concluded our last keychain workshop session on September 30th, 2024, for 20 ladies, part of the WOMEN TEACH WOMEN initiative we mentioned here in the last report.

Looking Ahead:

We're excited about several upcoming initiatives:

We've been working on developing a new tone of voice and visual identity to convey a more creative and bold message.
We have a Christmas campaign in the works and will keep you informed about the details.
Carla (myself) will be visiting the project in Goa in December 2024.
