Project Report for Solar Submersible Pump with Water Storage Tank in Donhaie, Tharparkar
Providing Sustainable Access to Clean Water for Rural Communities
Alkhidmat Foundation Sindh Chapter is delighted to announce the successful implementation of a drinking water project in Village Donhaie, Diplo, Tharparkar. This project includes the installation of a solar-powered submersible pump and a water storage tank, ensuring a sustainable and reliable supply of clean drinking water.
This initiative directly benefits approximately 85 families daily, addressing the critical water scarcity in the region. By utilizing solar energy, the project promotes an eco-friendly solution while reducing operational costs, ensuring long-term sustainability.
This effort aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), by improving water accessibility and promoting renewable energy. Additionally, it contributes to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by reducing waterborne diseases and enhancing the overall health of the community.
We are deeply grateful to our donors and partners, especially GlobalGiving, whose support makes such impactful projects possible. Together, we are bringing hope and health to the people of Tharparkar through sustainable development solutions.
