Dear Patrons,
We are very happy to thank you for all the support you have provided so far for our Empowerment for indigenous People; Batwa in Rwanda project.
Indigenous Rwandans (Batwa) are commonly called the people "left behind by history" by their neighbors. Internationally, they are known as Batwa Pygmies. Research shows that many lack the means and education to adapt to the 21st-century culture. A new vocation room will help out-of-school youth to get vocational training on handcrafting and pottery arts for income generation to target identified talented indigenous and help empower them to enter a bright and prosperous new future. The Learning-Opportunity Space in two targeted sectors (Burega and Masoro Sectors) of Rulindo district for continuous Education for 100 illiterate indigenous people out of School will be established. Basic literacy and numeracy skills will be provided to illiterate Youths. This building will also be used for other educational and cultural activities, not limited to but including poem writing, theatre performances, singing, "Amakondera" and traditional dances.
To achieve our planned activities, we request you to donate generously to our project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals. You could also consider doing a monthly recurring donation for our project, which will help us with our ongoing work. The link for the monthly recurring donation is mentioned below in the report.
We thank you for everything you have done for our project, and we look forward to your continued support.
Thanks and Best Regards.
Jean Damascene UWIZEYIMANA
