The project to protect women and girls in the midst of conflicts and wars is one of the most important humanitarian projects that Yemeni women and girls need at the present time. Sanid Organization has taken it upon itself to work on completing this project due to its utmost importance. It also presented it through the Qoubbel platform to all supporters, donors and contributors in order to help and donate to achieve the goals of this project. Since the project has been recently updated to suit the needs of Yemeni women and girls, it began working on its activities in February 2025. With its modest capabilities, it was able to take the first steps by implementing a number of activities, the most important of which is the inventory and study of cases that need assistance in conflict areas and displacement camps. The result of this survey and field inventory was as follows:

Story:
========
Sarya, a 37-year-old self-made woman, was able to overcome the difficulties and motor disability that completely prevented her from moving, so she was unable to walk and became dependent on her family in her daily life .
Sari was living with her family under the care of her parents, who gave her all the tenderness and love .
She became disabled (hemiplegia) as a result of meningitis when she was one year and two months old, and she was not treated quickly because of the distance to health centers in the area .
She and her family have suffered for many years because of her disability and society's negative view of people with special needs. Her family worked to provide her with a wheelchair to help her move around the house and yard to meet her special needs .
Her psychological state deteriorated as a result of her disability, her inability to integrate with her peers, and her difficulty forming friendships or social relationships in society, but she hoped that the situation would change for the better .
At that time, her cousin came to her father to marry her, but she felt a state of astonishment. How could this young man want her in this situation? How could she be a married woman? What would her married life be like and how could she be the source of his happiness? The insistence of her cousin Her uncle's encouragement to marry gave her strength and hope that the world was still okay and that she could lift herself up and challenge her disability.
She married that young man who gave her a new life full of tenderness. He worked to provide for her living and the rent and he did everything in his power to do so .
One day, she was struck by a tragedy when she received the news that he had fallen into an excavation while working, which resulted in a fractured spine, breaking his hand and both legs, and he became disabled and thus unable to walk. A new chapter of disability was added to her. Her husband became paralyzed and unable to move, and they all became immobile rubble waiting for others to extend a helping hand and assist them in fulfilling all their needs.
was cut off and their condition was getting worse day by day until the husband developed heart disease and the wife developed diabetes.
intensified , except for the food, drink and medical care provided by charitable people.
began to improve in terms of disability and he began to walk with crutches, but he was unable to do any heavy work. In order to provide a living, he began to work selling ice cream, and his income was very limited.
Sarya felt a pang of sorrow and regret in her heart whenever she tried to lift anything or do anything from the wheelchair. The sadness was mixed with patience, endurance, and hope that relief was near.
Sanid Relief and Development Organization was the way to achieve that hope.
A team from the organization visited her and monitored her condition and life events. They then offered her an opportunity to join the women’s center for training in the field of incense making.
But due to her disability she was unable to reach the space and felt disappointed, but the team was determined to have her join the training, so the team made it very easy for her by agreeing to hold the training at home and provide psychological support and awareness sessions until she was able to make incense and perfumes. After the training period was over, she was given a bag containing all the requirements for making incense and perfumes. She started working from home and acquired great skill in this craft and started earning money and providing for the household expenses and buying medicine for her and her husband.
Her psychological and living conditions gradually improved, as did her family's, and society's view of her changed. She became a role model among her peers in the region.
