We draw the attention of our philanthropists friends to the periodic briefing on the assistance provided to children and women affected by the war in Yemen.
Our friends.. Through your generous and continuous donations, we were able to help 52 vulnerable families displaced from areas of armed conflict, by providing them with clean drinking water. 364 people were targeted (182 children, 85 women) who do not have a daily source of income.
Dear philanthropists, it is not hidden from you that 243 vulnerable families were supposed to be targeted, according to the field survey carried out by SORD, but the cost of water and transporting it requires more amounts than the money collected.
Therefore, we count a lot on your donations, because the areas that are being targeted have hand wells that are not suitable for drinking as they contain a high percentage of salinity, and fresh water is lacking in these areas during the winter season.
At the end of this briefing, we draw your attention to the fact that our efforts to save children and women who are at risk of death in Yemen due to lack of food and Safe drinking water depend largely on your generous support, which greatly helps to restore life to these vulnerable groups.
