In a world full of challenges and difficulties, the most important message is born from gratitude: thank you for your commitment and active participation in urgent issues, particularly in the development and growth of women who dream of overcoming themselves and transforming their communities.
2021 was a year in which the word resilience has taken on a different meaning, becoming stronger as our societies have continued to face a continuous need to adapt. Change has been the greatest constant, but there are challenges that continue to be just as important -and even more urgent- today, and one of them is the need to continue betting on women's education. Making the decision to add, from our possibilities, to the struggles that transform society, is something invaluable and full of nobility: it is going to the bottom of the issue, transcending empathy from the discourse and betting from the measurable.
For that and more we want to thank you. Thank you for being part of our community in the ending of 2021 and the first months of 2022. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us to continue making it a reality. Your commitment strengthens our daily work and allows us to continue working to create more and better bridges for the development of women through education.
We share a testimony of one of the eight students who graduated in December of last year:
"I feel very nervous, excited and happy, I was able to graduate! If you could see me three years ago, I made a total change in my life. Cordem helped me a lot emotionally, you could say that it helped me find my happiness, my path, what I wanted... it made me see beyond a barrier that I had. Cordem helped me get my degree and be the woman I am: empowered. Right now I'm working in logistics, an area of my degree, and I also started my master's degree, because Cordem opened that thirst of continues growth. It made me see beyond my world, gave me that motivation, strength, it fed my soul and made me find myself. Right now I know who I am, what I want and where I am going. And if you allow me, soon I will be helping Cordem too. Thank you for all you did for me, for those years of support, for transforming me into a proud, supportive, empathic, loving, tender, hard-working woman. I am very grateful and very educated thanks to you, and I will continue to educate myself. I am very proud right now to say that today I graduated from Cordem, from university, I have a degree thanks to you!"
