After banning the import of used clothes and textiles materials in Rwanda in 2017, and the
promotion of made in campaign by Rwandan government, we have realised that our
organisation can be engaged in clothing business and this will help our organisation to create
jobs especially in women and reducing the rate of poverty and unemployment rate.
This project will generate more income because we will make and sell quality clothes at affordable
price and we want to start to sell our products to Rwandan market which is around 13million
of peoples (World Bank, 2019), and then after we will expand to region markets.
After starting this business, 250 marginalized girls will get monthly salaries and this one will
help them to improve the quality of life of their families.
