Manoranjani is now in the 9th grade in
Isha Vidhya Cuddalore school. After studying
for the first few years in a Government school,
she joined Isha Vidhya in the 2ndgrade, thanks
to a full education scholarship. Her father being
mentally disabled, it was her relatives who
had approached Isha Vidhya for her admission.
Their village head explained about the child’s
family background, and requested for her
admission with scholarship.
When Manoranjini joined Isha Vidhya, she was
neither bright academically, nor did she display
social skills. She kept pretty much to herself and
didn't mingle with other kids. Thanks to her
teachers’ continued nurturing, she has opened up.
Now she is very good in academics, with English
as her favourite subject. She takes keen interest
in art and craft, participates in exhibitions, and
has won the first prize, presented to her by our
Art Director.
Isha Vidhya’s education sponsorship program
is helping her to shine. If you would like to be
continually involved in a Indian rural girl child’s
education, you could consider starting a recurring
donation for a small amount, which will make
a child’s life!
The link to start a recurring donation is:

We thank you for all you have done for
the underprivileged Indian girl children’s
education, and we look forward for your
continued support!
Thanks & Best Regards.
