Bhavananjali studies in 5th grade at Isha Vidhya
Salem school. She started studying at Isha
Vidhya in the 1st grade. She lost her father when
she was 10 years old. She is from a poor family
background.
When we asked Bhavananjali to share about her
experience at Isha Vidhya, she enthusiastically
shared things that are precious to her at Isha
Vidhya, which have changed her life. She
appreciates thePower English class rooms and
the Power English teachers, because they inspired
her through some new vocabulary. She tells us that
one of her family memberswasimpressed by her
spoken English, because she was able to
communicate in English very well, even in 5th grade.
She also likes the veranda activity. Through this
activity, she is having fun learning all the subjects,
especially English, because the teachers are giving
writing exercises in an extensive way. This helps her
in being innovative. Activities like assembly and
veranda activities moulded her to be good in spoken
English, and improved her confidence.
Next comes in her favorite list is the Math lab. Math
lab is very interesting for her, because by using the
math kits, she is able to add and subtract easily,
and it is very useful for her day-to-day life. Art &
Crafts class is the most enjoyable class for her! She
learntthe new method of creating art, and can do
any of the learnt craft easily. She says that the
teachers always motivate her to invent new ideas,
and help her mother to encourage her in this aspect.
Bhavananjali thanksIsha Vidhya family the
scholarship, which provided her valuable education
and life skills.
