Preethi comes from a big, but underprivileged family of five people. Her father is the sole breadwinner with a monthly earning of INR 6,000. Her mother is a homemaker, and her younger brother and her sister are the students in the same Isha Vidhya Cuddalore school. Preethi’s dream is to become a medical doctor, but she realizes that her family income won’t be sufficient for pursuing higher studies.
Amidst all these hardships, the teachers claim that she is a friendly child and an obedient one. Her parents are also pretty enthusiastic about her dream. They believe that she will change their fate and consider her as a ray of hope and joy for the family. We thank our donors with whose support hundreds of children like Preethi are getting the quality education through sponsorships to pursue their dreams!
