We really don’t know how to express our gratitude enough about your donations against education sponsorships for the girl children studying at Isha Vidhya...
We are so overwhelmed with the outpour of your thoughtful donations. We were amazed to see that we could raise around INR 28,00,000 in just 5 months that aided education sponsorships (full education scholarships, scholarships, noon meal and transportation) !
We are so glad to share that we were able to allocate full education scholarships (worth INR 26,000 each) for 20 girl students, covering their tuition, books, notebooks, noon meal, transportation and uniform.
We were able to allocate education scholarships (worth INR 15000 each) for 136 girl students, covering their tuition, books and notebooks).
We were able to allocate noon meal subsidies (worth INR 4000 each) for 16 girl students covering their nutritious mid-day meal.
We were able to allocate transportation subsidies (worth INR 6300 each) for 15 girl students covering their safe transportation to and from the school.
All these were made possible by you, when you donated to this project during the Girl Fund Campaign that happened in March 2018. Your donations have enabled these sponsorships for these children for the academic year 2018-19, for one complete year!
We are glad to share that many donors had contributed in full for full scholarships, scholarships, noon meal and transportation. We will be in touch with these donors for further information individually.
We will be following up with some sharings and photos of the girl students who are benefited by this program!
