Project Summary

The project aims to enable the ability to adapt to multiple challenges and the immediate contribution of diverse groups with flexibility and effectiveness

The project aims to provide rapid intervention and rapid humanitarian assistance to families displaced by conflict or natural disasters in Yemen, with a focus on flexibility, rapid access and positive adaptation The project will provide food supplies, shelter, psychosocial support and tailored interventions to meet the specific needs of affected families It is a fundraising system to support disaster management and humanitarian response during conflicts and emergencies in Yemen The project aims to provide support for materials in the organization's warehouses for emergency interventions in conflict and natural disaster areas before and during their occurrence in Yemen, in order to provide emergency life-saving assistance to displaced families in the area that occurred in the natural disaster and armed conflict

The Resilience Building Project Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response Fund in Yemen aims to provide assistance and protection services to the most vulnerable and needy people According to the plan, *216 million people in Yemen* will need some form of humanitarian assistance and protection services during 2023, representing two-thirds of the population¹ The United Nations is calling for *$43 billion* to reach 173 million of the most vulnerable and needy people¹ The response approach will be organized around strategic objectives strengthening life-saving activities, resilience and contributing to durable solutions, and providing protection

General objective

The overall objective of the Fund Support System Project for Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response for the Organization in Yemen

The project aims to provide relief in emergency situations and exceptional circumstances such as wars and disasters, and to alleviate the suffering caused by conflict, natural disasters and economic collapse in Yemen by providing rapid, effective and tailored humanitarian assistance to displaced families This includes providing food, water, shelter, health care, psychosocial support and assistance in rebuilding livelihoods and resilience

 

Activities implemented during the project period :
1. Needs assessment: Identifying displaced and affected families.

2. Providing food supplies to those affected by flood disasters, distributing food and drink as emergency measures.

3. Providing a number of tents and blankets: for those affected in refugee camps.

4. Health care: Providing urgent medical services to chronic patients in some camps.

5. Psychological and social support: Providing psychological counseling.

6. Providing clean water: Providing clean water in some areas by rehabilitating and re-operating water wells.

7. Establishing supply warehouses in areas where disasters are expected.

8. Transporting supplies to affected areas.

9. Managing distribution operations.

10. Identifying distribution sites.

11. Raising community awareness of the services provided.

12. Raising awareness about human rights.
